A little bit of our history!
Hackney church history goes all the way back into 1977 when we branched away from another SDA church in Stoke, throughout our history we've had a total of 8 pastors, you can see a list below

Pastor Hymphrey Walters (1987 - 1992)
Pastor Samuel Davis (1992 - 1996)

Our history...
- 1977 - Branched away from then mother church Stoke Newington SDA Church
- 1978 - Organised as a company on 16th December
- 1982 - Start of worship at our current church
- 1988 - Purchase of our current place of worship
- 1991 - First Baptism held at the Hackney SDA Church
- 1991 - Official opening of Hackney SDA Church on 21st July
- 1991 - First Wedding held at Hackney SDA Church (11th August)
- 2000 - Sole ownership of the the building
- 2005 - 25th Anniversary celebration ceremony
- 2010 - Lauch of first church website
